How to complete your "sign and return" closing

How to complete your "sign and return" closing

If you are completing a "sign and return" closing, you will receive all documents the business day prior to closing via email. We ask that you please use care to ensure that all documents are fully completed and that there are no missing signatures or initials.

All documents are standard letter size and can be printed either in black and white or color. There should be a 1" margin on all pages (3" top margin on the first page of recorded documents) and no text should be cut off on any document. If any document does not look right when printing, please let us know. Once all documents are signed and notarized as is appropriate, please return a scanned copy to our office prior to mailing

Once we confirm receipt and that all documents are properly signed, we ask that you then return the originals using the provided mailing label. If you would prefer to deliver documents by hand or courier, documents can be dropped off at our office located at 9105 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66212. If no one is in the office, we have a secure and video monitored drop box to the left of the door where docs can be left.

Although you can sign your documents any time of day, the earlier we have copies of your documents the better chance that we are able to complete a same-day closing. Therefore, if possible, we ask that you sign and return the scanned documents to us as early in the day as possible by no later than 2pm (central time) on the closing date.  If you can not deliver docs until later in the day, it's OK, but we may not be able to distribute funds until the following business day.
