How to prepare for your online closing.
With an online closing, you won't have a specific appointment, but rather will be able to go to our 
portal anytime 24 hours per day. We ask that if you can, you please do this prior to 2pm on your closing date (and the earlier the better) as that gives us time to get the file closed and funds sent to the party prior to wire cutoffs. If you can not sign until after this time, it's OK, but we may not be able to distribute funds until the following business day.
If you need help during your online closing, we have several articles and videos on our website at https://help.rdtitle.com/portal/en/kb/scheduling/online-closings that can help answer may questions or walk you through the process. You are also welcome to contact us with questions. Our most important tip is that that you will not be able to sign or fill in any documents other than the e-sign consent until you are in the session with the notary. Therefore, make sure to click through to the notary once you have had a chance to review the documents.
The email with the link for you to start your online notary session will come from "noreply@proof.com" and will have the subject "You have closing documents ready to sign." If you do not see it, we recommend checking your spam folder as sometimes it ends up there.
